Ordering

I have decided to NOT offer a standard designed product at this point because in the year I've been making these now, I have not sold a single case of any of the "standard" sizes I had set up.  EVERY single order I've had has been a custom sized order, so that's how I will continue from here on out.

Pricing varies and is DIRECTLY proportionate to how big the case is.  You can generally figure around $100 for a graded case that holds in the area of 28 cards (give or take) or a one touch magnetic holder case that holds around 36 cards, again, give or take.  Each order being custom leaves me some wiggle room to make both parties happy.

Stains

I am currently using primarily Varathane and some Minwax colors for the stain.  The pictures below are of some test chips I've done.  I'm staying away from the Minwax Polyshades line now as since I've revised my staining technique, the Polyshades tacks up too quick and makes a good coat much more difficult to attain without nearly as deep penetration into the wood.  I'm finding FAR better results with base stain then separate polyurethane clear coat.  Pretty much any Varathane or Minwax color is doable at your request.  More test chip pictures coming as I get more stain samples.  *Note -- These test chips are done on the EXACT same wood the frames are constructed from, so literally what you see is what you get.  Colors can be darkened with more coats of stain, per request.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I NO LONGER USE POLYSHADES STAINS AS THEY ARE SIMPLY TOO TROUBLESOME TO WORK WITH, AND GO ON LIKE A PAINT DIMINISHING THE EFFECT A TRUE STAIN ON WOOD GIVES.  AS SUCH, SOLID BLACK WILL NO LONGER BE AN OPTION FOR COLOR.  I STILL OFFER THE EBONY STAIN, BUT AS WITH ANY STAIN, THE WOOD GRAIN PATTERN SHOWS THROUGH AND IN DIRECT LIGHT THE STAIN BECOMES PARTIALLY TRANSLUCENT.

On the left, Minwax Polyshades black which goes on very thick.  In the middle, bare Aspen with clear poly applied.  On the right, Minwax Ebony which goes in thin and looks great.
